Lasse Sørensen visited three primary schools in North Hykeham as he invited the pupils to come along to the Portsmouth fixture.
The Danish midfielder started the day at Manor Leas Junior Academy where he took part in a question and answer session before he encouraged some of the pupils to show off their football skills.
Sørensen was asked a variety of questions including how he prepares for a match and what it was like moving away from home.
St. Hugh’s Catholic Primary Voluntary Academy and Ling Moor Primary Academy also got a visit from the City player.
Sorensen said: “It was a lovely morning and it was good to go out to the community and integrate with people who support our club.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing them at the Portsmouth game and hopefully we will get a win for them.”
Danny Carter, head of sport and physical activity at Lincoln City Foundation, added: “This morning we had the pleasure of inviting our very own first team player Lasse Sørensen across to meet the pupils of some of our partner schools.
“Pupils were also able to ask Lasse questions as well as show him some of their football skills.”
