Ted Bishop is looking to build on his form from the start of the season during Saturday’s game at Accrington Stanley.
Bishop says his side are eager to build on their fine defensive form as they aim to pick up three points against Accrington this weekend.
He said: “There’s still belief in the team, we know our performances haven’t been good enough recently but all it takes is one win to turn that around.
“I think we’re so good at the defensive side, that we’re prioritising that over scoring goals sometimes.
“You do have that licence to get forward, but we’ve been focused on that defensive side so much.”
Bishop is relieved that he is getting over his injuries after a good string of games and is hoping to play a key role for the rest of the campaign.
He added: “I think I have got a little bit more freedom to get forward at Accrington, so I’m looking forward to it.
“It is a game we need to look at taking all three points. We know they’re having a tricky season themselves, so we need to go there with confidence and pick up a win.
“I feel like I’m getting my match fitness back as I’ve played three or four games in the last month. Now it’s about kicking on from here and finding that form I had at the start of the season.”
