Michael Skubala wants his side to keep fighting as they head into a busy run of festive fixtures.
The Imps finish their 2023 schedule with home fixtures against Bolton Wanderers and Northampton Town, with Skubala insistent that his team are ready to battle it out for every point possible.
He said: “There’s a bit of a break and then we need to go into planning and match preparations for the Bolton game.
“We have just got to keep going and fight for every point we can get through the Christmas period as it’s going to be tough.”
Skubala also expressed how pleased he was to see Ethan Erhahon return to the team at Derby County on Thursday after missing out recently through injury.
He added: “It’s good to have Ethan Erhahon back. He worked hard again on Thursday night, got some more minutes and now it’s about getting recovered and ready for Boxing Day.”
