City’s trip to Accrington Stanley has been rearranged for Tuesday 12 December (7pm), with entry £1 for all supporters and free travel provided to Imps fans travelling from Lincoln to the game.
Everyone at both clubs sympathises with the supporters who had made their way to the Wham Stadium for the fixture, in particular those who travelled significant distance. It was a brilliant effort on a cold evening from both sets of supporters.
The late postponement has come at significant financial cost to both clubs, as will completing the fixture on the rearranged date. The clubs will share the costs of the postponement and rearranged game.
- Tickets for the rearranged game will be £1 for all supporters
- Those who had a ticket for the postponed fixture can get a full refund from Accrington and purchase one at the new price if they wish.
- Travel on City’s official supporters coaches will be free for anyone who wishes to attend.
- iFollow passes will remain valid for the rearranged fixture, and refunds can be requested via ifollow@efl.com.
We are grateful for everyone who made their way to the stadium and sorry for the inconvenience and financial cost incurred. Both clubs share your frustrations, but the above measures have been agreed through the two clubs working together in recognition of this.
The coaches will depart the LNER Stadium at 2.15pm. To book your place, please contact the ticket office on 01522 880011 or email tickets@theredimps.com.
