These will be available in the ticket office from around 2pm, or from around 2.15pm from the Red Imps Community Trust stand in the University of Lincoln Fan Village, the 50/50 draw sellers at the northern end of the stadium. Tickets

Tickets can be purchased from the ticket office before the match, but we strongly recommend purchasing online at eticketing.co.uk/imps.

Travelling supporters can purchase tickets from the away ticket office window next to the club shop before the game.

As it is the first game of the season we would advise allowing plenty of time to access the stadium, especially if you are in the new safe standing in the GBM Stand which will have further checks to ensure only those with tickets to that area access it.

Audio descriptive commentary

The Imps provide a free audio descriptive commentary service for fans with visual impairments. Headsets and receivers can be collected from the ticket office before the game (from the SLO point 12noon-2pm, then from the ticket office desks).

Fans are encouraged to bring their own headphones where possible to minimise the amount of equipment needed to be shared - the receivers have a standard aux output.

Anyone with questions about the service are asked to contact disability liaison officer Heidi Langham on dlo@theredimps.com.

Former Players Association guests

Graham Bressington was a powerful midfielder who joined City in November 1987, just a couple of weeks after playing against the Imps for Saturday’s visitors Wycombe Wanderers. He was a key figure in City gaining promotion back to the Football League in that season too. Bressington established himself as a very effective and popular player going on to make over 100 first-team appearances for City and was Player of the Season in 1990/91.

Terry Cooper initially signed for City in December 1971 on loan from Notts County. He went back to Meadow Lane after making three appearances for the Imps but in the summer of 1972 he made a permanent move to Sincil Bank. Cooper, who started out playing in midfield, switched to centre-back with great success and went on to play almost 300 first-team games for City. He was a key member of the 1975/76 team which won the Division Four championship and was twice voted Player of the Season by the supporters.

Trevor Swinburne made regular appearances for the Imps until retiring in the summer of 1987. He was the first chairman of the Lincoln City Former Players Association when it was formed in 2017 and was the driving force in developing the organisation before stepping down from his role.
