Mark Kennedy is pleased with how his side is shaping up ahead of the start of the new season.
The Imps have made six summer signings with Ali Smith, Reeco Hackett, Lukas Jensen, Jaden Brown, Tyler Walker and Ethan Hamilton all coming through the door and the head coach believes the squad is stronger with the new additions.
Kennedy said: “The strength of the squad is a lot stronger, when everyone is fit and available, we should have a very powerful squad.”
Hamilton became the sixth summer signing on Tuesday morning, and Kennedy hopes he can have a big impact on the group.
He added: “He’s proven at this level and technically really good. His game understanding is very strong and he has good athleticism and physicality. As an all-round player, he has a lot going for him and I’m really grateful the club have got that one done.”
Additionally, Ben House extended his deal on Wednesday, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2025 and Kennedy was delighted to tie the striker down to a new deal.
He finished: “Ben House was outstanding last year, he’s well respected within the group and I’m really pleased with his new deal - he deserves it.”
