Mark Kennedy believes that City’s victory over Blackpool was a ‘big win’ as his side made back-to-back 3-0 triumphs at the LNER Stadium.
Kennedy’s side are now unbeaten since their opening day defeat at Bolton and have won both games so far in front of the City faithful.
He said: “I thought we were very good in possession, and particularly out of possession. I thought we looked very well structured, disciplined and really hard to break down which allows the other players to shine when we do get the ball.
“That was a big win for us because I thought it was a good test for us.”
Ethan Erhahon’s first goal for the Imps meant that City have now had six different goalscorers already this season, something Kennedy was especially pleased about.
He added: “It’s important that we share the goals if we want to be successful, and we’ve done that really well so far.”
