Jack Burroughs has enjoyed the first few weeks with the Imps which has seen him involved in the past two fixtures.
Burroughs came on as a substitute in City's 3-0 win on Saturday and followed it up with a start at Northampton Town on Tuesday, which is something that's helped settle himself into the squad.
He said: "I’m settling in well. It’s been good to have two games quite close to each other as playing minutes are a good way to integrate yourself into the team.
"Getting that winning feeling on Saturday really helped. I’ve enjoyed my time here so far."
Burroughs is hoping to continue his run in the team against Shrewsbury Town on Saturday as the Imps aim for a fourth match unbeaten.
He continued: "The main thing is playing games and this is a great level to be playing at. I’ve come here to get as many minutes as I can.
"It’s good to be able to fully focus on Lincoln. For the next nine months I’m a Lincoln City player, so all my focus is on doing the best for the team while improving myself."
