Ben House has applauded the solid team performance which helped the Imps to three points against Cheltenham Town.
Despite bagging both goals in City’s 2-0 victory over the Robins, the frontman insisted that it was a collective effort from his team-mates to seal the win.
He said: “I thought we were excellent from start to finish. We got at them and wanted to get the fans off their seats.
“The game plan worked well and we had played them recently so knew what they were about. I think it is a massive three points.
“The defence has been resolute all season. Carl Rushworth is fantastic as well, which is really positive for us.”
The Imps kick started their Easter weekend by bouncing back to winning ways at the LNER Stadium and will look to follow the win up with a positive result at Plymouth Argyle on Monday.
“Every game is tough in this league and Plymouth have got quite a strong home record. We will just have to go there and try our best to get three points.”
