Join ex SAS and Sunday Times bestseller Des Powell for the inaugural talk of City Veterans’ Club in the newly renovated Legends Lounge this September.
In the book "SAS Bravo Three Zero" Powell together with author Damian Lewis told the story of three SAS patrols who flew behind enemy lines in January 1991 to hunt down Saddam Hussein’s Scud missiles which threatened a Third World War.
City’s new Veterans’ Club is welcoming any former or serving member of the armed forces or emergency services regardless of nationality to the LNER Stadium from 7pm on Friday 30 September .
Powell will be interviewed by Paul Hughes from Lincoln City Foundation about the book.
Hughes said: "After the interview and a short break, we’ll receive questions from the audience, including the questions concerning the need for a Veterans’ Club at Lincoln City FC. We hope to see some of you there on what promises to be an insightful evening."
