Matty Virtue says City cannot dwell on Saturday's loss at Port Vale - with games continuing to come thick and fast.
Danny Butterworth's second-half strike gave the in-form Valiants victory in a tight encounter at Vale Park.
Virtue said: “Conceding goals are going to happen in some games. We just need to watch it back and see what we can do better, but it is one of them where it has happened and we have to move on.
“We are leaving disappointed but I think if we get three points on Tuesday we will feel much better.”
The midfielder felt the breaks in play for injuries to two Port Vale players disrupted the flow of Saturday's game - with a total of 13 minutes time added on in the match.
He added: “I thought we got control of the game really early but then the injury breaks stemmed that,
“We struggled to get the control back and that killed us a little bit. But we came out after half-time and regrouped - I actually thought we came out really well, but we lacked those finishing touches.”
