Regan Poole has commended City's recent performances which has seen them extend their unbeaten run to four matches.
The Imps came from behind on Saturday to earn a point against high-flying Sheffield Wednesday and round off what has been a positive week for the club.
He said: “At the start of the month we looked at the fixtures and saw that it would be hard. We are going in the right direction and there are still a couple more games to go before we reach November.
“We will be looking to take maximum points out of all of them, which could result in it being a really good month for us.”
Poole believes that the three clean sheets that City have secured in October have shown the belief within the group as the Imps aim to continue climbing up the Sky Bet League One table.
He added: “I am trying to grow as a player and am really enjoying it. We are also growing as a team, and I think we are looking really strong.
“The staff have a lot of belief in us and I think we can take real confidence from the results this past month. We can have a really good season and we need to continue doing what we have been doing.”
