Mark Kennedy has reiterated his side will continue to approach each fixture with the same mindset regardless of the strong run of form.
The Imps are currently on a five-game unbeaten streak, accumulating 11 points in all competitions having picked up wins against Ipswich Town and Barnsley.
He said: "We have been really balanced in our approach to every game, and we go into each match with the belief we could win, whilst recognising the difficulty of doing so.
"People on the outside may not see our upcoming fixtures as marquee games but we will approach them with the exact same professionalism.
"Our attitude is always the same, and I hope the outside influences can remain calm and balanced in those games."
Kennedy believes another contributing factor to the Imps’ positive run of form is his side’s self-belief.
He added: "You have to have belief in your processes and principles of how you see the game, but that does not mean they will work.
"You must be adaptable and flexible to recognise when you need to change, and I think we have done that well as a collective group.
"We always believe in ourselves, and we are getting results which is important, but I have never been blinded by the result."
