Mark Kennedy was pleased with the determination his side showed in the tough encounter with Sheffield Wednesday.
The Imps have collected five points from their past three games, culminating in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with the Owls.
Kennedy said: “It was a good point. In fact, it was more than a really good point. You obviously want to use your home games, but you have to be respectful of the opposition we had. I was super impressed with the guys.
“I think the lads have been outstanding in the last couple of games and we have got a good number of points on the board.”
City are still unbeaten at home in EFL Sky Bet League One this season after Danny Mandroiu’s equaliser in the second half.
Kennedy added: “It was an outstanding goal, a brilliant passage of play and some lovely one-touch football. In terms of what a good goal looks like, I do not think it gets any better.
“I think Danny has settled in brilliantly. He is got a superb belief in himself. I am very pleased for him today.”
