Regan Poole is delighted to be closing in on an appearance milestone for City.
The Welshman will mark his 100th competitive appearance for the Imps if he features against Morecambe on Saturday, and is happy with the way he’s developed during his time at the club.
He said: “I have reached 100 games quite quickly which I am happy about. I am really delighted as I have only missed a couple of games since I joined.
“I am really thankful for the opportunities that I have had here and hopefully we can still progress together. I have really settled and am happy with my progress at the club.”
Poole has been playing in a slightly different position in City’s backline and is taking confidence from the way he has embraced the change in recent games.
He added: “It is a lot different from playing as a full back, but I am enjoying it. I will play wherever the head coach needs me to play.
“The role is different and more attacking, which is new to me. I really liked the Plymouth game because the system got us up the pitch quite quickly. It is nice to be able to play a few different positions.”
