Lee Mitchell is happy with the clinical nature of his side to earn back-to-back wins in the league.
City Women hit double figures against Long Eaton and Mitchell has applauded the side’s ruthless performance which has seen their goal difference dramatically improve.
He said: “It was a good performance for 90 minutes and the scoreline reflects the performance ultimately. We kept standards high and at this level you have got to be ruthless.
“We created a lot more than what we scored. We set the tone last week and kept that going this afternoon.
Mitchell was also impressed with the way his side kept their focus throughout the game to earn a clean sheet in what was a successful afternoon for the team.
He added: “It was important to us that we kept a clean sheet and important that we got our goal difference in the plus. We took the opportunities that we needed to which was good.
“It was a big win for us last week and this week it was important that we got the three points. The opportunity arose to get our goal difference up, so we took it while we could. It will help our confidence going into next week.”
