City defender Adam Jackson is enjoying life on and off the pitch this season.
Jackson joined the Imps in the summer of 2020 and says he was looking for a club and a place where he could settle.
He said: “I feel like me and my family are feeling very settled in. That has been the atmosphere since I first came in.
“It was important to find a place to settle, especially as we had our son a couple of years ago and having the family started and you want that sort of consistency where you don’t move around. It has been nice to have somewhere you know you would be for a few years.
The City defender is pleased to be back on the pitch after being injured at the beginning of the season, helping the Imps to five clean sheets so far this campaign.
He added: “A change of shape has probably helped and having more defender on the pitch are going to increase your chances of a clean sheet.
“We have done a lot with the coaching staff at the training ground when they want us to set up and when they want us to press.
“With faster players up front, we play more counter-attacking football and I think that helps on the clean sheets as well.”
