The Jabara family have increased their stake in Lincoln City Football Club.
The US-based Jabara family initially joined the existing group of shareholders in Lincoln City Holdings, which owns 83.9% of Lincoln City Football Club, in June 2021. This investment saw Landon Donovan join the Imps as a special advisor.
The Jabaras have increased their investment since then, with this latest purchase of shares a sign of their long-term commitment to the Imps.
A personal statement from Harvey Jabara:
It is with tremendous pleasure that our family adds to our investment commitment to Lincoln City Football Club. Missy, Jaxon, Jensen and I love this city, this club and its supporters. We cannot wait to contribute to its continued strides forward.
During this moment of economic challenge in the world, it is only natural we all worry about our loved ones and all that is important to us as individuals. Football provides us the opportunity to rally together for the love of the English game and our wonderful club. As you work every day to make ends meet and attend to your priorities in life, we thank you for your support and want you to know you need not worry about your club as it is in fine hands.
As Missy loves to say: 'The 3 Cs... club, community and country'. We are in this together.
With each passing day, I become more impressed with this club's leadership. Please know how uncommon it is in sport to have the level of talent and experience our chairman, board, ownership group and front of office bring to the table. We may be 5,000 miles away but are always there in spirit and fully-engaged as our passion for this club and city grows each day.
Despite our success as a club in recent years, we have not reached our ceiling. There are League One clubs with more funding and that will likely always be the case. Our family will continue our support of the club going forward and continue our pursuit of new investors who bring experience and compatibility along with funding. I am convinced Lincoln City are good stewards of the resources we do possess and you have my word we will strive every day to outwork and outsmart our competition.
It is important we continue building the infrastructure that enhances our ability to provide a comfortable and safe fan experience at the LNER Stadium, support our first team and all players in our development system and add depth to our front of office.
Developing first team players is a high priority. This particular infrastructure requires time and resources, and we are all in agreement this is an important initiative going forward.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your support of the club. It requires all of us working together to achieve our goals. Your attendance both at home and away is remarkable and we ask that you continue providing this important element.
