City supporters can help those in their local community this winter with the club and fellow local organisations hosting a collection for local foodbanks.
Lincoln City have partnered with local foodbanks, the Fans Players Scheme (FPS), Lincoln City Foundation, the Red Imps Community trust, 617 Squadron and Lincolnshire Coop to raise donations in the form of money and food for Lincoln Foodbank.
From January 2022 to the end of September 2022, Lincoln Foodbank have given out 2,913 food parcels to 5,976 people; of which 2,165 were children.
Testimonials from users of Lincoln foodbank said: “Without the foodbank we wouldn’t be able to survive. Thank you.”
“It gets me out if only for a short while, enables me to interact with others and prevents me from being hungry.”
“It has made a huge difference in me being able to feed my family a proper meal. It’s very helpful and I am so grateful.”
Supporters will have the opportunity to make food and monetary donations at the LNER Stadium on Saturday 10 December when the Imps face Wycombe Wanderers in Sky Bet League One action.
