City forward, Ben House, has said he is continuing to move towards his targets as he notched again for the Imps.
The frontman moved onto six goals for the season as City moved up to ninth in Sky Bet League One.
House said: “I was just happy to be playing at the start of the season, but I’m still just taking it game by game and hopefully I can continue to improve with each goal.
“It’s another one on the tally and towards the targets I’ve set myself. I’ll keep what that is to myself, but I do have a figure I’d like to hit in mind, and we’ll see where I am at the end of the season.”
The Imps are unbeaten in league action at the LNER Stadium, with the 23-year-old attributing the strong run to the togetherness of the team and the support from the City fans.
He added: “We won’t be checking the table, we just deal with our business game by game but we’re in a good place right now and I think that shows with our performances and togetherness.
“You won’t see day-to-day around the training ground but there is a real buzz around the place and as a group we’re friends more than just colleagues so I think that has been a big help with our form.
“The fans behind us provide a great incentive to pick up points at home, and hopefully we can back that up again on Tuesday and create a bit of excitement in the city.”
