Maddi Green and Holly Wilson say confidence is high in the squad as they go searching for a third straight win this Sunday.
Green and Wilson were both involved as City Women won at Long Eaton last Sunday to build on the success at Leafield Athletic the previous Sunday. City struck 16 times across the two fixtures.
Green said: “It is good to be on the scoresheet and the confidence is back up - the girls did fantastically well and put in a great shifts.
“It was good combination play at Long Eaton and it was nice how we led up to the goals. Quick passes down the line and using our strength and pace to get in behind them worked for us.
“We need to carry on what we have been doing and stay focused ahead of Sunday’s game.”
Wilson made her senior debut at Long Eaton on Sunday, having spent the season so far with the U23s.
She added: “It is great to make my debut and I have worked hard for it the past few months.
“The U23s are working really well and I have got to give credit to them, but it is good to step up. It was a very attacking game which is what I am used to. I am quite an attacking player, so it was good to push up and combine with the other players.
“The morale in the team is great at the moment as well. There is support from the U23s and the first team, so it is good to all be together.”
