City's DS Active Team provided Saturday's guard of honour as the club marked World Down Syndrome Day.
World Down Syndrome Day is observed every 21 March to raise awareness of Down's syndrome.
And on Saturday they took on Burton Joyce in a friendly encounter outside the LNER Stadium, before both sides welcomed City's first' team and Sunderland out for the big match.
The DS Active team train regularly on the 3G pitch and play in matches and tournaments when possible.
