Imps confirm LNER Stadium capacity for 2022/23 season

The registered capacity of the LNER Stadium for the 2022/23 season will be 10,780, which has been made possible following the purchase of the North-East Stand.

Located between the Stacey West and SRP Stands, this newly acquired asset will provide added flexibility when managing capacity, particularly for higher profile fixtures, and means that the LNER Stadium capacity has increased by around 400 over the past two years.

Damian Froggatt, City's director of operations, said: “The purchase of this stand as a fixed asset means that we are now able to increase the capacity of the LNER Stadium on a permanent basis.

“Alongside this investment, the club is continuing to explore other seating solutions – which also includes the potential for rail seating as part of the Stacey West Stand development project.

“All such investments into facilities are ultimately aimed at building the club’s infrastructure in a financially responsible way, while improving the matchday experience for all supporters.”

The ticket office will contact season membership holders in the SRP Stand who have a restricted view as part of the North-East Stand’s position.
