City have completed their first team coaching structure for the 2022/23 season with the appointment of Scott Fry as goalkeeping coach.
Fry joins the Imps from Wolves where he has been head of Academy goalkeeping. He joins assistant head coach Mike Garrity and first-team coach Tom Shaw to form City’s coaching team led by head coach Mark Kennedy.
Imps director of football Jez George said: “Scott is highly regarded and previously worked with Mark at Wolves. He comes with an array of top references and is highly thought of by a number of top goalkeepers who have worked with him.
"He will work brilliantly this season with Carl, as well as our own goalkeepers, and our Academy goalkeeper coach Charlie Andrew, whom we also rate extremely highly.
“I would like to thank Scott Sellars (Wolves' technical director) for his help in allowing Scott to join us so quickly, so that he can join us from Monday and get straight to work with Carl, Sam and Jordan.”
Fry replaces Steve Croudson, who leaves City to take up the role of goalkeeping coach at Grimsby Town.
Everyone at the club thanks Steve for his contribution over the past two and a half years and wishes him well for the future.
