Michael Appleton is confident that his new signings are ready to get started as Lincoln face Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.
Brooke Norton-Cuffy and John Marquis are the latest players to join the Imps and Appleton has had extra time to get them up to speed after a match postponement in the week.
The Imps boss said: “The players we bring in are aware of the way we play but we’ve had an opportunity to have a couple of sessions with them so we’ll try and get them up to speed as best as we possibly can. The quicker you can do that, the better.
“They’re ready to go. They’ll be ready and good to go whether that’s this weekend or next.”
Defender Adam Jackson is one of a number of players missing through injuries, but Appleton hopes this is one of the final games he is forced to sit out as he recovers from his second concussion of the campaign.
He added: "He's close to a return. Burton next weekend may be a bit too soon, but beyond that we hope we can have him involved against MK Dons or Morecambe.
"He's trying to get back into the mix. He's training and doing everything he can as we follow the protocols until can integrate him with heading then he'll be ready to play."
