This season Papa John’s has become a silver partner of the Imps in an extension of the long-standing relationship between both organisations.
Having first opened their doors to customers over 30 years ago, the global pizzeria now has more than 5,000 stores in 45 countries worldwide and is a proud partner of the Imps.
Ranjit Johal, the owner of the Lincoln branch of Papa John’s, said: “The relationship between Lincoln Papa John’s Pizza and Lincoln City is not just a commercial relationship, but that of a long-standing fan and his football team.
“The Papa John’s in Lincoln is unique within the Papa John’s Franchise in that we have developed a pizza with the help of the Lincoln City footballers and staff called the IMPS Pizza. It has been on our menu for many years and is available free to any Imps fans whenever another pizza is ordered.
“We feel privileged to support the club as it continues to move forward.”
The head of commercial at the Imps, Adam Chantrey, said: “To have a long-standing and developing relationship with a global organisation in Papa John’s is testament to the progress of the club over the recent years. But it is also testimony to the hard work of everybody at the club and the support from the fans.
“I am sure it is a partnership that will develop further and will be of great value to both parties.”
