Charles Vernam is looking forward to the busy Christmas schedule which will see City in action three times in a week.
The 26-year-old understands the excitement around the festive fixtures for supporters and is hoping that City can continue their positive unbeaten home record during this busy time.
He said: “We understand that there will be a few more fans coming to watch the Christmas games.
“It is enjoyable for us as players to have those games to look forward to and I think it’s nice when they come thick and fast.
“We are excited for the Christmas period and I think it is a really good time for both supporters and players.”
Vernam also explained that he’s pleased with the game time he has received lately but that he still has his own personal targets to improve on.
He added: “I am happy that I have been in the team for a while but I am well aware that I need to contribute with more goals and assists. As an attacker, that is what I am judged on.
“I understand that those numbers need to be better and I’m hoping that if I can continue performing as I am, then I can add that to my game.”
