City will find out who they face in the quarter-finals of the Papa Johns Trophy on Thursday.
The quarter-final draw of the Papa Johns Trophy will take place at 11.45am live on TalkSPORT on Thursday 15 December on the Jim White and Simon Jordan show.
White and Jordan will be joined by two-time EFL Trophy-winning manager Kenny Jackett, who won the competition in 2006 with Swansea City and in 2019 with Portsmouth after a thrilling penalty shootout victory against Sunderland in front of a record crowd of more than 85,000 at Wembley Stadium.
City booked their place in the last eight of the competition with a 4-2 win over Everton U21 on Tuesday night, with Accrington Stanley, Bolton Wanders, Bristol Rovers, Cheltenham Town and Portsmouth also going through.
Two round of 16 ties are still to be played, with Salford City hosting Port Vale and Plymouth Argyle welcoming AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 December, respectively.

The quarter-finals are scheduled for the week commencing 9 January.
