The Imps have drawn Accrington Stanley in the quarter-finals of the Papa Johns Trophy.
The tie is set to be played at the LNER Stadium, with the fixture provsionally scheduled for the week commencing 9 January. Ticket and further match information will be communicated with supporters in due course.
City booked their place in the last eight of the competition with a 4-2 win over Everton U21 on Tuesday night, with Accrington Stanley, Bolton Wanders, Bristol Rovers, Cheltenham Town and Portsmouth also going through.
