Alongside the hard-work of more than 50 local volunteers and businesses, City supporters played their part in helping to raise more than £9,000 for local foodbanks.
The Imps partnered with the Fans Players Scheme, Lincoln City Foundation, the Red Imps Community Trust, 617 Squadron and Lincolnshire Co-op to raise donations in the form of money and food for Lincoln Foodbanks at the Wycombe Wanderers fixture earlier in the month.
Ahead of the match, close to the targeted £5,000 had already been raised. The £587 in contributions made on the day of the game by supporters, staff and players at the club, as well as those in the local community, helped maintain the momentum of the initiative to push it towards a five-figure sum, surpassing the original target set.
