Lincoln City FC and Lincoln City Foundation are looking for this years’ next big signing to join their team as part of the governments Kickstart Scheme.
The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to create new job placements for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit who are at risk of long term unemployment. Placements will run for a 6-month period offering 25 hours per week positions across the Lincoln City family with roles in media, fundraising, community events, sports coaching assistants and LCFC ground staff.
A full list of vacancies can be found here: Our Vacancies | Lincoln City Foundation | Jobs or your local job centre. All those interested in applying for one of the posts at Lincoln City should contact the jobcentre and ask about the Kickstart Scheme.
Liam Scully, CEO at Lincoln City FC said: “Lincoln City are pleased to be able to offer these placements across the organisation and look forward to welcoming some new faces to our team.
“Both the Football Club and the Foundation have worked incredibly hard over the last 12-months to remain operational and visible in our communities and we see opportunities such as this Lincoln City’s chance to help contribute to the post-Covid recovery by supporting young people into employment.”
Head of Community, Raj Randhawa and Youth Manager, Jasmine Craft are hosting a Live Lounge session through DWP and the Lincoln job centre to give candidates the opportunity to learn more about a career at Lincoln City and what the roles will entail.
Raj said: “I would encourage anyone eligible and looking for a new employment to apply, you don’t have to be an Imps supporter to enjoy a career at Lincoln City.
“There are some options for paid work after the 6-month period for those individuals that show passion, commitment and dedication to their roles as we look to grow our team to drive our 2020-2025 Strategy for Lincolnshire.”
Successful candidates will be given wrap around development training to help further their career and future employment opportunities.
The Lincoln City Foundation team will be putting on a live lounge session for candidates interested in the Lincoln City roles on the 8th March at 2.30pm. Those interested need to contact their work coaches through the job centre to book on.
