Lincoln City Football Club would like to thank Ian Reeve who has today stood down as a Director and Board Member after six years.
Ian was born in Lincoln and has been a lifelong supporter of the Imps, joining the board in 2015.
Prior to joining the board, Ian started his career as a Marine Engineer in the Royal Navy where he served for 22 years before joining the Ministry of Defence.
Ian ended his working career as a Chief Engineer for Marriott Hotels where he spent 12 years overseeing major hotel refurbishments and contract management.
Lincoln City CEO, Liam Scully thanked Ian for his time on the board, saying: "On a personal level, I’d like to thank Ian for all his support and kindness since I joined the Club.
"Ian’s contribution to the board and various working groups has been incredibly valuable. I hope we can continue to make Ian proud of his Club as he steps back from his role as a Director to once again enjoy his team without the added pressure and responsibility that comes with membership on the board”.
Ian wished the club well after stepping down from his position: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on the board at Lincoln City and will hold many memories from the six years I spent as a Director.
"I felt that it was the right time for me to take a step back, and I am looking forward to attending games at LNER Stadium as an Imps supporter. I wish Clive, Jay and the other board members well with the football club in safe hands."
