The Imps are delighted to announce that First Team Manager Michael Appleton has signed a new four-year deal at LNER Stadium.
Michael joined City in September 2019 and currently sits second in the Sky Bet League One table after picking up 57 points from 29 games so far this campaign.
The Imps boss was delighted to extend his contract saying: "I'm excited and looking forward to being part of the progression made by the football club on and off the pitch.
"I have many thanks to Clive and everyone on the board, and to everyone who has been able to follow the team in what’s been a difficult season for all supporters. Hopefully we have been able to put a smile on faces, and I am excited for the moment we can start filling LNER Stadium again."
Lincoln Chairman Clive Nates was also pleased to keep Appleton at the club until 2025: “I am delighted that Michael has signed a new contract through to 2025.
“The successful transformation of the squad and a promotion push in his first full season is remarkable, even more so considering the curtailment of last season and a significantly lower pro budget.”
