310821 CITY COMPLETE SIGNING OF JAMIE ROBSON

City have completed the signing of Jamie Robson from Dundee United on a long-term contract for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old left back made a total of 174 appearances for the Scottish Premiership side, scoring three goals, including the winner against Rangers earlier this season.

The talented defender made his debut for the Terrors as a teenager in 2015 and has been a regular at Tannnadice Park over the last six seasons.

City’s new signing said: “I’m absolutely buzzing to be here, and I cannot wait to get started.

“The club has had fantastic success over the last few years, and I want to be a part of that and help move this club forward.

“I’ve heard so much about the fans and that’s a massive reason why I’ve joined the club. I’m really looking forward to the first home game and hope to build a good relationship with those supporters.”

Imps manager Michael Appleton said: “Jamie joins us with plenty of experience and is ready to slot straight into our first-team squad - he is an attacking-minded full-back who will suit our style of play.

“Jamie is ready to immediately effect our starting XI but he is also at an age where there is room for him to grow as a player, and we’re glad that he feels we’re the right club for the next stage of his development.”
