Harry Anderson picked up an assist today as the Imps beat MK Dons 2-1 at Stadium MK in Sky Bet League One action.
The Imps winger was happy to pick up three points, giving City six for the season following their two opening Sky Bet League One games.
"I am happy to get an assist, I was disappointed to miss the chance earlier but I am glad we got the win in the end," said Anderson.
"It has been a good start which is important, we now have another three points on the table, we have momentum and we want to keep it going!"
Harry continued by speaking about the way MK Dons played today: "It was a tough game, we knew it was going to be.
"They use their goalkeeper as an extra man because he has the ability to spray the ball. We setup to try and shut off all their potential passes and I thought we did that really well to win the game.
"We knew if we had good shape and won the ball back they would send players forward allowing us to hit them on the counter attack. It was key to make sure the first pass was good to break through."
Anderson finished by speaking on a personal level, explaining how he is enjoying his time at LNER Stadium: "My crossing has got better, I have been working on that, and it is important for me playing as a winger. It was good to get the lads on the end of them.
"We will keep working hard and focus on winning the game. I love it here, I am settled and I am loving my time with the club."
