TJ Eyoma was delighted to pick up another set of three points as the Imps beat Blackpool 3-2 at Bloomfield Road this afternoon.
The defender believed his side deserved the three points following their second half performance.
“It was a great game; I thought all the lads dug deep to get the win” said Eyoma.
“It was a hard game, but we deserved the three points. We all showed great commitment and resilience to dig deep and get the goals we deserved to get the three points.”
TJ spoke about club captain Liam Bridcutt, explaining how much of an influence he has been in the dressing room.
“Brids (Liam Bridcutt) has come in and he is great for us young lads, he has played at the highest level and we will learn from him.
“He came back in the second half and played a major part in the performance to get the points today.”
Eyoma finished by speaking about how the side will continue to learn under Michael Appleton following a successful start to the 2020/21 season.
“We are a young team; we want to learn, and we are honest,” said the defender.
“We will continue to work hard in training and in games. The team keeps developing, the manager is good with young players and the performances have been good experiences for us.
“I can play centre back or full back, I just want to keep helping the team.”
