TJ explained how he is enjoying life with the Imps after returning to LNER Stadium for a second spell on loan from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.
“One of the factors for me coming back to Lincoln was because I liked the City and I got to know the club well in my previous loan.
“I have been privileged to play every game and I am more comfortable around the place this season. I know a lot of the lads here and it has been easy to settle in, I want to continue to work hard to keep my place.”
The 20-year-old continued by discussing his development, speaking about how he is learning a lot under Michael Appleton.
“It is vitally important for my career to be out on loan,” said TJ.
“I want to keep improving and that’s what I feel I am doing under the manager at the club. I enjoy training with the lads and as a young side we are hungry.
“I want to be playing first team football and having that opportunity with Lincoln will only help me in my career.”
TJ has operated at centre back and right back this season, playing alongside a variety of Imps defenders including Lewis Montsma, Joe Walsh and Adam Jackson.
The 20-year-old highlighted the experience Adam Jackson has to offer saying: “I’m happy to play centre back, Jacko (Adam Jackson) is an experienced lad and I can learn a lot from him.
“I enjoy playing for the side in any position, I just want to keep developing wherever the manager wants me to play.”
The defender finished by looking forward to Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup game against Forest Green Rovers at LNER Stadium.
“The cup has a great history and it will be a good game tomorrow, it will be a good experienced to play in the cup and I am looking forward to it.
“I want to keep playing and we will work hard tomorrow afternoon.”
