200331-Statement

Due to the ongoing impact of the coronavirus pandemic, Lincoln City Football Club have made the decision to place the majority of non-playing staff on furlough leave under the terms of the Government’s Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme.

With the suspension of football until the 30th April at the earliest, this decision has been made to help safeguard the future of the Football Club and furthermore help to protect the jobs of our team members during these uncertain times.

The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme will provide funding for 80% of salaries up to the cap of £2,500 per month.

Currently the EFL and PFA (Professional Footballers Association) are in talks, and the Club await further advice from the EFL before any action is taken with regards to the playing staff.

A small number of team members will remain in place to continue with the Club’s day to day operations.

With the health and wellbeing of staff being of paramount importance, the remaining team members continue to work from home where possible until it is deemed safe to do otherwise.

We will continue to keep supporters informed with any ongoing information via the Club website and social media channels on both Twitter and Facebook.

However, should any supporters have any ticketing or general enquiries they can contact the club via email: admin@theredimps.com.
