We are facing difficult times for everyone right across the City, the country and around the world in both our business and everyday life. The key right now is that we all look after each other in the best way possible by complying with the guidelines from the relevant authorities to keep as many people safe as possible.

At Lincoln City FC, our team members are now working from home, except for 1 or 2 who are required to maintain our pitches and carry out essential maintenance work, but of course our priority will always be ensuring the health and welfare of everyone.

The suspension of football is absolutely the right thing to do.  However, the longer this suspension continues, the higher risk to the Club being able to continue to operate in its current form and ultimately, we face a threat to our very existence. The most difficult and major challenge for us is the uncertainty around timelines and our number one job is to ensure that Lincoln City Football Club survives the very difficult weeks and possibly months ahead. To this end, we are working on a plan to safeguard the Club and all jobs as far as we possibly can by identifying and maximising savings, exploring revenue opportunities and seeking new workstreams which will make us more effective when business finally gets back to normal.

During this period when so many people are working from home, we aim to keep morale as high as possible.  We will consistently encourage interaction with the Club on social media and our team is trying to get the message out that someone is always listening.  We do care.  Football brings people together; we know that more than many, thanks to the support we are lucky to have for the Imps.

Today, we will all be able to rewind to one of the iconic away games which we have played in recent years as the game against MK Dons is shown 'live' on our YouTube channel at 3pm. It was a fantastic afternoon for everyone who was there and we hope you'll watch it with us again today. Also, to enhance the 'matchday' experience we are offering the chance for you to win some terrific prizes as 50/50 tickets are available online by CLICKING HERE.

It's our second 'Imps Rewind' after last weekend when there was a full re-run of the 2018 EFL trophy win on club channels so that fans could relive that memorable day when almost 30,000 proud City fans travelled to London to see their team lift the trophy. Generations of supporters came together as one. We wanted people to once again have the chance to smile, to once again feel that pride in their football club and our fantastic community.

That day, almost two years ago at Wembley was the perfect example of how powerful community and civic pride can be, and we urge people to come together, to be helpful to neighbours and friends.  We know there are some of us who need help day-to-day and, for those people, Lincoln City Foundation continues its great work within the community.  The Foundation continues to help the vulnerable who may not have the support network they need.

If you know someone who may need a little help or assistance, please ask them to fill in this form https://www.lincolncityfoundation.com/impsasone-covid-19

Please take care of yourself and others in these difficult times.
