200313-ClubStatement

Following guidance from the EFL, Lincoln City Football Club can confirm that this weekend’s game against Tranmere Rovers has been postponed due to the ongoing situation with coronavirus.

Going forward, as a further precautionary measure all matches have been suspended initially until the 3rd April 2020 to limit the potential spread of Covid-19 to staff, officials and supporters of all clubs across the country.  However, we would advise any supporters displaying symptoms that are consistent with the virus to familiarise themselves with the NHS’s advice on self-isolation.

Furthermore, based on guidance from the authorities all staff at Lincoln City Football Club are taking all precautions to reduce the risk of infection, by reinforcing the hygiene advise which has been widely communicated across the country and we would recommend all the public to do the same.

Also, as a precautionary measure we have taken the decision to postpone all LNER Stadium and Soper of Lincoln Elite Performance Centre ‘Access all Areas’ tours until further notice. Be aware we have offered guidance to our players and coaching staff to respectfully decline all selfie and autograph requests and refrain from shaking hands whilst such measures are in place.

Thank you for your understanding.
