Anthony Scully is enjoying life with Lincoln City following his arrival at LNER Stadium from West Ham United.
The young forward has already scored two goals for City, with his most recent causing debate after it was referred to the Dubious Goals Committee.
Scully explained the situation, saying how the most important thing was Lincoln got the three points.
"When the goal went in, I knew it had hit me, but we’ve had some banter about it in training," said Anthony.
"I didn’t even notice the announcer saying Joe’s (Morrell) name, but the main thing was we got the win. But it’s nice the goal got given to me in the end."
Scully spoke about how he has settled in at LNER Stadium with a number of Irish teammates including Conor Coventry who is currently with the Imps on loan from West Ham.
"Ever since I have come in, I have had a great welcome from the staff, the fans, the players and everyone, I am loving it. It was good to know that I had Conor here, it helped me settle in quicker because I knew someone when I walked through the door.
"Me and Conor are great mates so it’s easy living with him. I do all the cooking and cleaning and he just watches the TV."
Anthony finished by explaining how training is going well at the Soper of Lincoln Elite Performance Centre: "I train the way I play and the way we play suits me a lot.
"I have adapted well so far so I can only get better. We had a break with two weeks and it was nice to have some time away from games. We worked on certain things with the extra time we had, so things have come together nicely.
"It has been a great season for me so far, I will look back at the end of the season, but I want things to continue to go well with Lincoln. I will set my targets for next season after the end of this one. I don’t mind where I play as long as I play, it honestly doesn’t matter to me."
