We can confirm that Jamie McCombe has left his post as first team coach at Lincoln City Football Club.
The former City defender departs after four years with the club after returning as a player back in January 2016 for his second stint as part of the first team squad featuring 11 times, before stepping into a player coach role in October of the same year as The Imps lifted the National League title.
Jamie was then predominantly part of the coaching setup from then on with The Imps but did make two cameo appearances for City in the Football League Trophy, scoring on his last appearance in a City shirt against Accrington Stanley in December 2018.
We would like to thank Jamie for his service to the club and we wish him well for the future.
