200331 Vital Lincoln City

As the club continues to grow, support from fan sites such as Vital Lincoln City play an important role as they continue to contribute impressive sums of money through donations and player sponsorships.

Vital Lincoln City site owner and main contributor Julian Burley explained the part his website plays by raising money for the Imps: "Whilst Vital Lincoln City is primarily an online community for supporters to exchange opinions and information, we also see our fundraising role as a fundamental part of our ethos. The club is more financially stable following the return to the Football League, but we see no reason to abandon one of our core values. Our support would continue with the club gaining promotion into the Championship and Premier League."

As well as their sponsorship of a number of first team players and academy stars, the latest cheque from Vital Lincoln City for £1,500 came solely from donations made by forum members. It brings the total amount donated by the site to over £19,200 since November 2011.

Imps chairman, Clive Nates thanked Julian and Vital Lincoln City members for their support saying: “They are a fine example of the incredible support we receive from our supporters. As we continue to move forward as a football club, we would like to thank all of our supporters’ schemes for their continued hard work and donations.”

Vital Lincoln City are also doing great things in our local community having already donated £300 to the Sincil Foodbank. The money donated will enable the foodbank to provide food parcels to feed 12 families for a month. They are also aiming to raise £500 towards the Bradford Burns Unit and you can donate HERE.
