After a weekend off the pitch, The Imps under 18’s get back into action on Saturday against Doncaster Rovers.

Tom Shaw’s squad are looking to solidify their place in the top two of the EFL Youth Alliance North East division with a win against the side from South Yorkshire, following a 2-2 draw last time out against Huddersfield Town.  City’s under 18’s have faced Rovers twice already this season but both games were over in Doncaster, once in the league which ended with the honours even (2-2), and in the EFL Youth Alliance Cup which the Imps were victorious by the odd goal in seven (4-3) so there could be another glut of goals this weekend.

The game between The Imps and Rovers kicks off at 11am on Saturday morning at The Priory City of Lincoln Academy on Skellingthorpe Road, LN6 0EP, for any supporters wishing to see the young Imps in action.

The opponents for the Under 9 – under 14 age groups this Sunday are Notts County, the under 9, 11 and 13’s are at home against the Magpies whilst the Under 10 and 12’s travel to Nottinghamshire on Sunday with all games kicking off at 10.30am.
