Lee Angol has re-signed for the Imps on a Deadline Day move from Shrewsbury Town, which will see the forward sign on loan until the end of the season.
Angol played a pivotal role in City's return to the EFL, scoring crucial goals against Forest Green Rovers, a hat-trick at Braintree on his debut, and a goal in the final day fixture at Southport.
The 24-year-old has since been with Mansfield Town, and joined the Shrews at the beginning of this campaign, scoring four times for the Sky Bet League One side this season.
With 66 league starts to his name, the former Spurs trainee has 29 goals across the National League, Sky Bet League Two, and League One.
Danny Cowley said: "We are delighted to be able to take Lee on loan. He came in this sort of time in 2017 and we know how that ended.
"He scored six goals in the run in and was a key player for us and really helped us to get promotion.
"We know the ability that he has. For us, he gives us real tactical flexibility as he can play as a sole striker, play as a number 10 behind John Akinde or as a channel-running forward off Matt Rhead."
Angol will take the vacant number 10 shirt, and you will be able to read and hear more reaction from Danny Cowley and Lee ahead of the weekend.
