Cian Bolger says that he has settled into life at Lincoln City well as the defender approaches his 12 month with the club.
The Irishman joined the Imps from Fleetwood Town in January 2019, and made his debut in the Lincolnshire Derby against Grimsby Town at Sincil Bank soon after.
With a League Two title and 33 City appearances next to his name, Bolger revealed that he is enjoying his time with the Imps.
"It’s been great," Bolger said.
"The end to last season was sensational and I’m getting more settled and playing more games so I’m really enjoying my time here.
"When I first came here, I was living out of a suitcase so it was difficult but it’s part of the job, but I’ve moved down and got a house so that’s beneficial to me."
The Imps have been without a league game for almost three weeks, and the 27-year-old believes the squad and management have used the break wisely as they aim to get back to winning ways at Burton Albion on Saturday.
"It’s been a blessing in disguise (the break). The manager has had more time to install his ways into the team in training and I think we have had a good couple of weeks.
"We’ve worked really hard during the week and had a nice couple of days with our families during the weekends. It was a bit strange, you don’t know what to do really, but it was nice to switch off for a couple of Saturdays mid season.
"We’ve been working very hard on the training ground so we shouldn’t feel rusty at all, and it should be beneficial going into the game."
The Imps having three home fixtures over the festive period and tickets are on sale here.
