The Imps are pleased to welcome Nottingham Forest forward Tyler Walker to Sincil Bank, as the 22-year-old joins on a season-long loan deal.
The former England U20 international starred for Mansfield Town in the 2018/19 campaign, scoring 26 times in all competitions and was named in the PFA League Two Team of the Year.
Walker becomes City’s fifth signing of the summer ahead of the Imps’ first fixture of the 2019/20 season on Saturday.
Danny Cowley said: “We like the goals he brings, he’s very single-minded. Whenever you speak to him, it’s always about the goals.
“But he brings more than just the goals,” he added.
“He’s got really good hold-up and link up play. He combines well, and you can play into him too. You look at Jorge (Grant), Jack (Payne), Bruno (Andrade) and Harry (Anderson), our creative players – and that ability to look forward to play in and combine off is something we can hopefully add into our game.”
Walker, who scored twice for England U20s in 2015, will take the vacant number 17 shirt at Sincil Bank ahead of his season-long stay.
“I’m very buzzing to get the deal over the line. It’s a great opportunity for me,” Walker said.
“After last season, I’m looking to kick on again and I’m glad that I am here with Lincoln.
“It’s a big deal for me to try and progress. Last season was a good base for me, and this year will be a challenge for me, but I am going to give it my all and hopefully better that here.”
