Lincoln City are pleased to announce that Steve Tointon, who currently serves as the representative of the Gold Membership on the Board of the Football Club, has recently been appointed as a Director of Lincoln City Holdings.
The Board can report that this follows Steve’s decision to significantly increase his own personal shareholding. Steve will continue to represent the Gold Members on the Lincoln City Football Club Board until August, but at that time will not stand for re-election and will instead also become a Director of the Football Club Board in his own right.
A lifelong Imps’ supporter, Steve has also served as Chairman of the Red Imps Community Trust and sits on the Board of the Former Players Association.
Steve commented: “My almost 4 years of representing the Gold Members on the Club Board has provided both the appetite and desire to remain involved at the end of my tenure and this is reflected in the investment made. Having recently retired from a career in accountancy and consequently having more available time I hope to continue to assist wherever possible in maintaining the success of the Club in the short, medium and longer term.”
