Lincoln City can announce that Kevin Cooke & David Parman have decided to step down from their position as directors of Lincoln City Football Club & Lincoln City Holdings. Leaving the board also will be James Lammin who has been replaced as the Red Imps Community Trust representative following a recent Trust election.
Kevin Cooke originally joined the board in 2001 shortly after the then Chairman, John Reames, stepped down. Later, following a short break from director duties and a period as Company Secretary, Kevin re-joined the board as a director in 2008. Over the past four years he has served the Club as Acting Managing Director and then as Managing Director, before stepping down from these duties earlier this summer. Kevin also served the Club as Acting Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Sport & Education Trust.
David Parman first joined the board in July 2011 having followed the Imps since the early 70s. His company, Timber Stair Manufacturers Ltd, also stepped up as front of shirt sponsor during what was, a very challenging period for the club. David enjoyed his time as Vice Chairman, especially in supporting Chairman Bob Dorrian, and played a major part in re-developing the changing room area and VIP members area before taking a short break from football in January 2016 to focus in on his own business. David re-joined the Board in July 2016 and steps down now to concentrate his time on new business venture RD Motorcycles Ltd.
Kevin and David will remain as part of the Lincoln City family in Associate Director roles and on behalf of everyone at Lincoln City Football Club, we would like to thank them both for their dedication and support throughout their time as directors.
Replacing James Lammin from the Supporters Trust will be Peter Doyle.
