Imps goalkeeper Grant Smith has today joined Maidstone United on loan until December, 31st.
Smith joined the Imps in the summer from Boreham Wood, and has since made six appearances, with his last game coming at Macclesfield in September.
The 24-year-old kept two clean sheets in those matches, but has since been kept out the team following Josh Vickers' return to full fitness.
"Grant is a young player who needs to continue playing, having made over 250 appearances on the spin before joining us." Danny Cowley said.
"He will gain and develop more playing, than he will sitting on the bench. It's partly a move to benefit us financially, but also the fact that he's a young player that needs to be playing games."
Grant will be immediately available for the Stones in their fixture away at Ebbsfleet United on Tuesday night.
